Session details

Until now, many procedures have been described in the literature for maintaining the postextractional horizontal dimension in cases where an immediate implant was placed in type 1 socket. It is a well known fact that the buccal soft tissue bulk is collapsing after tooth extraction and that placing an immediate postextractional implant won’t prevent the tissue remodelling.

The need for esthetics nowadays is high and so, the need for finding the best approach to prevent the buccolingual dimension changes in postextractional immediate implant placement is greater.
