Dr. Ionut Branzan graduated the “ I. Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Faculty of Dentistry, Cluj-Napoca in 2005. Since then, he has been working in Zalau, Romania, where he established an interdisciplinary clinic and team. Currently, he focuses on dental and implant prosthetics. Dr. William Giannobile, dean of Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), is a leader in the field of periodontology and an internationally recognized scholar in oral regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and precision medicine. He is an alumnus of HSDM, with an advanced degree in periodontology and oral biology. In September, 2020, he was appointed the 11th dean of HSDM.
Prior to HSDM, he served as the Najjar Endowed Professor and chair of the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He was also a professor of biomedical engineering at the College of Engineering and Biointerfaces Institute. He received his DDS and MS in oral biology from the University of Missouri. He later received his certificate in periodontology and Doctor of Medical Sciences in oral biology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He completed postdoctoral training in molecular biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Giannobile previously held positions as a faculty member at HSDM as an assistant professor of Periodontology and at the Forsyth Institute. He has served as a visiting professor at the University of Genoa Medical School Biotechnology Institute and the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He is a past president of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, and currently serves as the president of the Osteology Foundation, an organization devoted to oral tissue regeneration by the promotion of science and clinical practice. In addition to his research efforts, he is involved in clinical and didactic teaching in periodontology and will practice clinically in periodontics and implant dentistry at the Harvard Dental Center.
Dr. Ophir Fromovich graduated from the Medicine and Pharmacy institute in Bucharest, Romania. He is an expert on dental implants, and he is leading a private practice dedicated to the placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Fromovich is the inventor of many implant systems and restorative implant parts. Moreover, he has lectured extensively nationally and internationally. Dr. Fromovich has also conducted many advanced implant courses, and he is the author of book chapters in implant dentistry and scientific publications.
Dr. Sebastian Lupu discovered his passion for endodontics since the Faculty of Dentistry at the U.M.F. "Grigore T. Popa", Iași. He continued his studies at the Master in Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics level II, in Turin - Italy, and recently obtained the Certification of Trainer Dentsply Sirona Endodontics in Ballaigues, Switzerland.
He has been practicing this branch of dentistry for 20 years, and over time he has managed to perform thousands of endodontic treatments of varying degrees of difficulty. He introduced the operating microscope in his work technique in 2009, and since then he has been providing his patients with more precision. Due to the properties of this dental equipment (to increase the visual field), over 95% of the canal treatments had predictable and successful results.
The considerable and ever-increasing number of successful complex endodontic re / treatments has led to the creation of many mentoring requests from colleagues. Thus, in 2017, Dr. Sebastian Lupu founded the ENDOLearning project, through which he wants to provide support, demonstrations and tips & tricks in endodontics to those who are passionate about this branch of dentistry.
Today, his passion for microscopic endodontics continues, which is why he never refuses to participate in specialized events, which gives him the opportunity to update and improve his workflow.
After receiving her medical degree from the University of Bari (Italy) in 1996, Dr. Vailati left Europe to pursue her dental education in the United States. Returning to Europe in 2004, she joined the department of Fixed Prosthodontic headed by Prof. Urs Belser at the University of Geneva (Switzerland), until 2020
Dr. Vailati maintains a part-time private practice in Geneva, dedicated to rehabilitation of worn down dentitions, using adhesive Prosthodontics and ADDITIVE Dentistry.
She has developed a protocol, the 3STEP technique, which allows clinicians to face full-mouth rehabilitations in a more predictable manner.
Finally, Dr. Vailati has created her own Academy, the 3STEP Academy, with different centres around Europe. Her main location, however, remains on the Lake Como, Italy, where theoretical-practical courses are held on Additive Prosthodontics and functional rehabilitation of patients affected by erosion and dysfunction.

Dr. Rares Buduru graduated the Faculty of Dentistry of “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, class of 2001. Since 2001 is the owner of the dental clinic Stomestet.

Tommie Van de Velde graduated in 2001 from the University of Ghent, Belgium. He continued with a 3 year full-time Master in Periodontology and fixed Prosthodontics at the same university. In 2009, he was granted the PhD title with the subject: “Innovative protocols in implant dentistry”.
He worked from 2004-2012 as assistant Professor at the department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at the University of Ghent. During this time he directed the Postgraduate course in Oral Implantology, a part-time education for general dentists.
He owns a multidisciplinary office in the city of Antwerp. He has a clinical activity exclusively in periodontology, implantology and aesthetic oral reconstruction.

Dr. Zadeh is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and fellow, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He received his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Southern California (USC) Ostrow School of Dentistry. Dan Lazar has graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in 2005 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
After that he attended many post-graduate trainings in prosthetic and restorative dentistry in Romania and Europe.
Between 2007-2009 he teaches at the Faculty of Dentistry ”Iuliu Hatieganu”, Cluj- Napoca, RO at the Restorative Department. From 2005, he starts working in a private practice in Oradea and from 2016 runs his own private practice, specialized in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.

Since then, she has been working in a private clinic in Bucharest, Romania and teaching students as an Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Removable Prosthodontics of the Faculty of Dentistry, UMF “Carol Davila” Bucharest.
She is a specialist in Dental Prosthetics (since 2014) and as a clinician she is focusing on prosthetics and prevention for maintaining the health status of dental and implant treatments.
In 2017 she submitted her PhD thesis about“The management of the prosthetic treatment for drug consuming patients”and she is still working in the prevention of oral health diseases field for this category of patients.
She has had a continuous interest in finding the best solutions for the professional prophylaxis and long-term self-maintenance of the treatment results in the field of oral health and from 2018 she started a collaboration with Oral-B as a consultant on professional and academic relations.
Dr. Smaranda Buduru is course director of Dental Occlusion with the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dental Medicine, “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj. She teaches courses in Occlusion and Temporomandibular Dysfunction for students and residents in the department.
Dr. Buduru is has been registered as a specialist in General Dentistry since 1995 and in Prosthodontics from 2011. Since 2003 she holds a PhD in medical sciences with a thesis concerning the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular dysfunction.
She has been key invited speaker for different national and international congresses and conferences and her studies have been published in numerous journals in the field. She is the author of the following books: “Examination of the patient with temporomandibular dysfunction”, “Practical notions of dental occlusion”, “Dental occlusion: clinical versus articulator” (Romanian and English version), and coauthor of “Incursion in dental aesthetics”, “Comprehensive esthetic dentistry” (English and Chinese version) printed by Quintessence publishing house.
Dr. Buduru is co-owner of the dental clinic “Stomestet" where she conducted multidisciplinary and complex treatments in occlusion and prosthodontics. In the clinic she teaches private courses for doctors as well: “Dental Prosthodontics between aesthetics and occlusal equilibrium”, “Dental occlusion: practical considerations in prosthetic dentistry”.
Dr. Michael Radu graduated in his native Romania, Dental School of Bucharest, in 1979 - Summa Cum Laude and valedictorian. He completed a three year general dentistry residency, at the same school. He received his Masters of Science degree from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, in 2000. He practiced for six years in Düsseldorf, Germany and since 1989 in Boca Raton, Florida. He has a diverse practicing and teaching experience covering more than three decades and three countries. His passion for the science of dentistry translated into several articles and one patent that Dr. Radu authored.
Dr. Radu has a passion for dentistry and for teaching it to others. He believes dentistry is more of a science that can be taught, rather than an art one has to have a knack for. One of his most effective teaching techniques is breaking down complex ideas to their simple components so attendees can understand the concept and believe that they can achieve the same results.
Michael Radu, DDS, MS has a restorative and aesthetic oriented private practice in Boca Raton, Florida since 1992 and is an adjunct professor in the restorative department at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine since 1999.
He lectures nationally and internationally on aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry, with emphasis on treatment planning, implants, occlusion, the temporo-mandibular-joint and digital dentistry. He has lectured for groups ranging from dental societies and study clubs to Fortune 500 companies and dental industry manufacturers.

Daniel Rothamel is a professor of maxillofacial and plastic surgery at the University Hospital of Dusseldorf, Germany. After studying dentistry at the dental school in Dusseldorf from 1997 to 2001, Prof. Rothamel went to medical school in Dusseldorf and specialized in oral surgery from 2002 to 2007. Following graduation in 2007 he participated in a DAAD scholarship program at the University of Sydney, Australia. He specialized in oral and maxillofacial plastic surgery at the University of Cologne from 2008-2013, Germany and was senior chief resident from 2013 – 2016. Prof. Rothamel focuses on research into biomaterials for implant dentistry with a special interest in collagen. The topic of his PhD thesis was the regeneration of mandibular defects using bone substitute materials and growth factors. He is a reviewer for several international journals and has published more than 100 national and international peer-reviewed papers.
Dr Cristian Rotaru attended the Faculty of Dentistry, “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest , Romania from which he graduated in 2005.He earned his specialty degree in Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgery in 2014 and a general doctor degree in 2013 from the same university.

Dr. Sorensen is Professor, Department of Restorative Dentistry; Director, Biomimetics Biomaterials Biophotonics Biomechanics & Technology Laboratory; Director of Research, Graduate Prosthodontics Program; Director of Research, Dept. Dr. Andrew Prynne qualified from University College Hospital in 1987 having achieved the Dentsply Prize for Restorative Dentistry. He took up his first position at 740 Dental as an associate dentist and after a brief period in 1992 helping a colleague set up a practice in the Forest of Dean, Andrew returned to 740 as a partner.
In 1990, Andrew became a lecturer on the local dental nurses’ course for the National Certificate and subsequently became a National Examiner on the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses.
In 2004, Andrew started a three-year course in dental implantology under Prof Manuel Chanavaz of Lille University in France and has since developed a comprehensive implant service for his own patients and on referral.
