Often times we are confronted with adult patients with worn teeth. These patients usually require a complex, interdisciplinary approach because of all the changes that have taken place, from loss of enamel, to compensatory eruption with an increased gingival display, to the loss of function of that tooth because of its altered morphology.

The aim of this presentation is to go over the clinical signs and the diagnosis of these cases, to discuss the treatment goals and see how and why orthodontics can improve the prosthetic outcome in these situations.
