It has been almost 2 years and a half since COVID-19 made the world upside down and all the events we were supposed to hold have been cancelled including MegaGen symposium.

As the restrictions and regulations have been debilitated, we have finished MegaGen’s International Symposium in Seoul successfully.

Also, European Scientific Meeting(ESM) which is one of the MegaGen’s biggest events in Europe will be held offline in Romania this year.

This event will be held again in Bucharest, where the first ESM event was held at the same time as ESM’s 10th anniversary event.

We are pleased to announce that registration for the ESM – Failure & Complications cutting-edge solutions is now open. 

The 2 day symposium will welcome Dr. Cristian Dinu, Dr. Jordi Gargallo and Dr. Marcus Engelschalk as moderators, and Dr. Kwang Bum Park, Dr. Giuseppe Luongo, Dr. Fabrizia Luongo, Dr. Devora Schawez, Dr. Marius Steigman, Dr. Isaac Tawil.

Almost 20 years after my first exposure to Machine Learning, I find myself in the middle of a fundamental transformation of the industry driven by this sophisticated technology. The explosive development of cloud computing is fueling the shift towards including ever more intelligence into modern IT platforms. In a few short years, machine learning delivered via cloud computing became a ubiquitous and affordable technology. The value unlocked for organizations is tremendous. Whether it’s about increasing sales by better understanding customers, saving money by predicting failures or incidents, or increasing the accuracy of medical diagnostics, my work related to machine learning helps people do work faster and smarter. The most important thing I’ve learned in this journey is that my career would not be complete without both customer success and the sharing of knowledge. I am fortunate and proud to be among the ones that do both. My primary role is General Manager at Genisoft, a cloud and data science Microsoft Partner company based in Timisoara, Romania. I also act as a CTO for High-Tech Systems and Software. Since 2018, I've entered with Genisoft in the prestigious global Solliance family. Starting from January 2019 I am also the Chief Data Scientist at Solliance. I am recognized as a Microsoft Regional Director and as a Most Valuable Professional in Artificial Intelligence. And last, but not least, I'm a proud alumnus of the West University of Timisoara and a member of the awesome Codecamp comunity in Romania.
