Dr. Marcus Engelschalk, from Germany, graduated from the University of Würzburg in 1997, when he also started his postgraduate studies at both the Universities of Zurich and the University of Vienna.
In 2000, after the postgraduate programmes, he established a private dental office in Munich. Since 2001, he has been lecturing for international scientific courses and congress on implantology, laser dentistry, IOS and CAD CAM in implantology. Dr. Engelschalk also has a certificate in implantology by the DGI and a Specialization in oral surgery and implant dentistry.
Between 2016 and 2021 he has been Chairman of MINEC and since 2021 he is board member of MINEC International, and also editor-in-chief for the International Journal of Future Implantology (a MINEC brand). He is also a member of International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM) and Dental Digital Society (DDS) and different scientific associations.
Due to his hard and passionate work, he has become ambassador for SlowDentistry® in Germany.
For MAS Congress, Doctor Marcus Engelschalk has prepared an interesting theme “Digitalization in dental implantology - where are we today and what about the future”.
