The manufacture of fixed prosthetic works through the CAD / CAM system is today a widespread procedure in dental offices and dental laboratories. But in recent years, the focus has been on making removable dentures. On the dental technology side, software development and finding the right materials is already at an advanced stage. On the clinical side, however, not all steps can be digitized accurately and economically directly on the patient. Thus, a system is needed that combines the well-known conventional processes of the clinical part with the new possibilities and technologies in a reasonable way. In this presentation, Dr. Frank Zimmerling will present such a system, demonstrating its applicability in the manufacturing process of mobilizable prostheses.
