Running a dental practice is no easy task. While we excel at providing our patients with superior oral health care, it’s easy to become so caught up in the day-to-day operations that we forget about the other vital element of a successful dental practice: an exceptional patient experience. As CAD/CAM continues to replace traditional workflows and become the standard of dental care, digital solutions have become a necessary consideration for any dental business, improving efficiency in dental procedures and streamlining workflows. One of the most significant benefits of digital technologies is improved patient experience and comfort. A satisfied patient is more likely to return and recommend a clinic to others, contributing to the long-term success of any dental practice. Even if the new technologies are brought to clinical practices, it is of great importance that the new procedures are reflected in the whole team in which not only physicians and technicians, but also dental assistants and secretariat are included. When we update the clinical management procedures for the digital revolution, it is possible to create teams with much higher synergy that achieve “the exceptional patient experience”.
