Mihnea is an e-Government enthusiast having spent recent years in top management positions for Romanian IT businesses. He is now Deputy CEO for Trencadis Corp, an organic growing Romanian integrator managing complex IT systems, accessed by more than 100.000 citizens daily. Mihnea joined Trencadis in May 2017 having previously shown his expertise in implementing many critical systems as Project and Program Manager from 2003 to 2017 in e-Government, Retail, Automotive and Telco IT sectors.
Mihnea Mihailescu began his project management career holding local and regional positions in Softwin and IBM, implementing projects in various countries, such as Serbia, Bulgaria, The Netherlands and UK. He earned a degree in Economics and likes to ski and travel in the rural and historic sites of Romania.
Emanuel Popa, IP Engineering Director, works within Digi Group | RCS & RDS since 2000, when he joined the company for a technical support position. From April 2001, he took over the responsibilities of WAN Engineer (administration, planning and development of the national IP / MPLS network), and four years later he became IP Backbone Team Leader.
Also in 2005, he was appointed NMC manager and, since August 2010, MIST manager, becoming at the same time the coordinator of IP Engineering Direction of NMC, MIST and Backbone activities.

Romeo Kienzler is Chief Data Scientist at the IBM Center for Open Source Data and AI Technologies (CODAIT) in San Fransisco.
He holds an M. Sc. (ETH) in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Systems, Bioinformatics, and Applied Statistics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich.
He works as Associate Professor for Artificial Intelligence at the Swiss University of Applied Sciences Berne and Adjunct Professor for Information Security at the Swiss University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). His current research focus is on cloud-scale machine learning and deep learning using open source technologies including TensorFlow, Keras, and the Apache Spark stack.
Recently he joined the Linux Foundation AI as lead for the Trusted AI technical workgroup with focus on Deep Learning Adversarial Robustness, Fairness and Explainability.

Alex "Jay" Balan is the Chief Security Researcher and Spokesperson for Bitdefender.
