We’ve come a long way from barely understanding the need for information systems to gathering huge amounts of data and teaching systems to work for us. How did we get here? How do we handle our current challenges and opportunities? Our biggest struggle is upgrading Governmental services. The digitalization of public administration is a much needed process that benefits us all, as a society and as individual citizens. We believe we have a responsibility to contribute to this endeavour and to give back our knowledge to our economy. We will share some insights from our experience with the implementation of several critical nationwide systems, like the Ro-Alert system, and what is actually needed to build the capability to alert the population in emergency situations, or to automate the issue of a landbook excerpt.
