Peter Verhas is a senior software engineer and software architect with having electrical engineering and economics background (MSC and MBA). He studied at TU Budapest, TU Delft, and Vienna. He created his first programs in 1979. Since then, he has authored several open-source programs. He has worked in several telecommunications and finance industries positions and was the CIO of the start-up index.hu during its early days.

Mary is a Senior Developer Advocate at IBM with the Websphere team, focusing on Liberty, Microprofile, Java, Open Source, Cloud, Reactive and Distributed Systems. She started working as a software engineer with C and Unix, then transitioned into Java, Open Source, and web development in the new Millennium, and now she has ventured into Reactive, Mobile, and the DevOps/Cloud space. In her previous incarnations, she worked for several technology product companies in the Route 128 Boston Technology Corridor as well the San Francisco Bay Area. She now resides in the Greater Chicago area, and is the President and Executive Board Member of the Chicago Java Users Group (CJUG). She is also an active co-organizers for the Data, Cloud and AI In Chicago, Chicago Cloud, and IBM Cloud Chicago meetup groups. Mary continues to be amazed by how software innovations can dramatically transform our lives. Raphaël de Cormis is Director of Thales Digital Factory since March 2020. The Digital Factory’s mission is to support Thales entities in the development of new digital offers and new ways of working for the Group. The Digital Factory is based in Paris, Montreal and Singapore.
Prior to this role, Raphaël was VP Innovation at Thales Digital Identity & Security (formerly Gemalto), launching new businesses by investigating new technologies, usage trends and social impacts. Nills Franssens is a technology enthusiast and a specialist in multiple open source technologies. He is the author of the second and third edition of the "Hands-on Kubernetes on Azure" book. He has been working with public cloud technologies since 2013.
In his current position as principal cloud solution architect at Microsoft, he works with Microsoft's strategic customers on their cloud adoption. Nills's areas of expertise are Kubernetes, networking and storage in Azure.
When he's not working, you can find Nills playing board games with his wife Kelly and friends, or running one of the many trails in San Jose, California.
