CROSS PLATFORM GPU MACHINE LEARNING FOR VIDEO GAMES
Using Machine Learning models at runtime in video games poses some difficulties, since platforms have a variety of GPUs (usually provided by AMD) without any high-level parallelization support.
In their talk, Alexandru and his co-speaker Ciprian Păduraru will present the framework developed in the Frostbite team from EA Romania to support machine learning models inference in video games for different platforms, from different endpoints: the client API, workflows and the low-level solution adopted for operators implementation based on compute shaders.
